Plants are awesome. But man are they hard to keep alive! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create an enclosed ecosystem that will literally take care of itself!
You’ll select a unique glass vessel (provided by the instructor), and, with step-by-step instructions on how to build a healthy, sustainable ecosystem, you’ll create your own miniature world of tropical plants, mosses, and decorative elements. Then, just add water, place it somewhere where you can admire it or gift it to a loved one, and your terrarium will live on!
Wear something comfy that you don’t mind getting dirty, and invite a friend!
Since our workshop takes place before Mother's Day, this is a perfect activity to do with your mom or with with one of your children or grandchildren (Age 5+). Or make one as a gift for your mom!
What You Should Bring: *Any decorative elements or personal touches you hope to include in your terrarium. Shells, crystals, figurines, etc. *A bag or box to tote your terrarium home in. They’re glass, so will need some cushioning.
You can e-mail the instructor, Dara Cheek, at hieropice@email.bigcartel.com with any questions.
